  • MSCL Coraline Ship Agency Ltd, a subsidiary of Mauritius Shipping Corporation Ltd, was incorporated on 22nd of October 1998. It is a state-owned private company and it is answerable to a board of directors. Its two shareholders are Mauritius Shipping Corporation Ltd (MSCL) and State Investment Corporation Ltd.

    Activities:

  • The MSCL CORALINE Ship Agency Ltd was established as a subsidiary company of the Mauritius Shipping Corporation Ltd (MSCL) which has been established in 1986 as a private government company to initially monitor the freight costs of the M/S "Mauritius" on Rodrigues Trade.

    The MSCL was also acting as a ship agency to ships carrying cargoes for the account of the State Trading Corporation - a parastatal organisation responsible to import rice, petroleum products and cement.

  • Ireland Blyth Limited was incorporated as a private company on 14th July 1972 following the merger of Blyth Brothers & Co. Ltd and Ireland Fraser & Co. Ltd, both of which had been trading in Mauritius since the early nineteenth century.

    Ireland Blyth Limited remained a private company until 1994 when it was converted into public and was admitted on the Official List of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.

    The liner agency Blyth Brothers operate as an independent subsidiary and represents major shipping lines which link Mauritius to worldwide destinations.

  • Royal Shipping Ltd.is an Export and Import Shipping Agents. Marine & Cargo Surveyors and consultants: marine surveys. Non marine surveys (motor). Inspection of empty containers prior to loading to certify their condition and fitness. Stuffing containers with their respective cargo for export, and pre-cool survey for export of tuna to Europe. Destuffing of container for cargo imported. Ship's survey, fishing vessel, pleasure craft - survey includes machinery, hull safety equipment, boiler, etc. Fire, cyclone, burglary surveys, quantity surveys.

  • Incorporated in 1997, Southern Marine Co. Ltd. provides comprehensive shipping services with a one-stop philosophy to cater for all client needs.

    Its range of services includes general port and shipping agency, broking and surveying, chandling, bunkering, container leasing and salvage.

    Regional transport and bulk cargo handling have become some of its specialities where the company has established a performing track record.

    Partnerships with renowned international companies such as ITAS, IVS, GE SeaCo, ITC and Boskalis enable the company to provide the highest level of service.

  • Union Shipping Limited incorporated in 1982 acts as shipping agent for:

    1. Hamburg Sud - Columbus Line offering a pure container 10 day sailing service.

    Accepting cargo ex Japan, Korea, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia.

    Also loading for South Africa, South America and Far East ports.

    2. Conti Lines offering general cargo service from European ports, Karachi en route to Durban, Mombassa and Dar Es Salam.
