Fort Adelaide

Fort Adelaide is also called the Citadel because it resembles a Moorish fortress, high on the crown of the hill. It is one of the four forts in and around Port Louis that were built by the British. The other three, Fort George, Fort Victoria and Fort William, are in ruins or inaccessible.
