The French Institute in Mauritius (former Centre Culturel Charles Baudelaire) opened in Rose Hill last May in a building of 2000 m² completely open to the city and the world, environmentally friendly, designed by architect Mauritius Gaetan Siew.

Representative of contemporary France in its wealth and modernity, the French Institute of Mauritius invites players into a single cultural and economic space around a vast cultural facility that is both a place of culture, a place to meet and a place to live. Media with a modern and busy (6 th largest in the world / collection of nearly 30,000 documents) which is the heart of the institution.arts programming and implementation of quality in the theater of 200 seats in the Gallery of the Institute or outside the Walls in partnership with local stakeholders.
Training
with the center of language and skills training for businesses, focusing on the business site and the map according to their needs;
Student mobility
CampusFrance which annually hosts over 350 Mauritian students who leave for France.
